Theatre Facilitator and Practitioner
Masters in Theatre Arts (University of Mumbai)
Neeraj has been teaching theatre to students since 2012. His workshops usually deal with storytelling, building a character, devising theatre, and foundation skills in acting. He uses concepts from the theories of Augusto Boal and Antonin Artaud in his workshops.
He has been a full time theatre teacher for two years for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, at the N.S.S. Hill Springs International School, Mumbai. He has also been the N.S.O. – Dramatics teacher at the I.I.T. – Mumbai for a year.
Neeraj has worked on several children’s productions. He has been a part of the direction team for the annual day at the Dhirubhai Ambani International School (2012), and designed and directed the annual day productions at Podar International School, Nanded (“The Jungle Book”, 2013) and at JBCN, Borivali, Mumbai (“The Steadfast Tin Soldier”, 2014).
Neeraj has also directed various Marathi plays in Mumbai, his most recent being “Ek Shoonya Teen” a successful Marathi production which performed over 90 shows.
